I have been hearing the cries all over the internet. Sellers have been complaining about a message they were receiving from Amazon.
“You are already at the maximum inventory allowed for this product, due to capacity or other restrictions. This product must be removed from this shipment.”
Amazon has begun randomly rejecting inventory shipments due to high stock levels. Even worse, they have not made any of their sellers aware of this. Sellers are not being advised of this UNTIL the stock is in the process of shipping.
I heard from a fellow seller who imports stock from China. He was not too pleased to learn that after spending a ton of money to import these items that he will NOT be able to ship them to Amazon.
I am not sure that Amazon is aware that this is a business not only for THEM, but for their sellers and vendors as well. They also work with many large companies who provide inventory for them and NEED to plan accordingly. As usual, Amazon is acting like a product of the ‘ME Generation’. Time to grow up Amazon.
